Je suis allé me promener, j’ai pris quelques photos. La série est liée à l’extension urbaine qui progresse toujours vers des espaces abandonnés. La série aborde l’idée de la transformation de terrains inoccupés en lieux déterminés et normés. L’habitat est vu comme étant la fois intime et ouvert sur le non intime, l’inaccessible. C’est une métaphore de l’effort de domestication, un dialogue entre le soi et l’ailleurs, entre l’être et l’angoisse de l’ailleurs et de l’autre.
I went for a walk, took some pictures. The series refers to the urban extension which always progresses towards abandoned areas. The series deals with the idea of the transformation of unoccupied land into settled and standardized places. To dwell is seen as both intimate and non-intimate. It is a metaphor for the effort of domestication, also a dialogue between the self and the elsewhere, between the being and the anguish of the elswhere.
